consultancy

The core business of CCIT is to help small businesses manage their computing infrastructure without spending a fortune. This has been accomplished through a flexible consultancy package, either paid for monthly or on a call-out basis which offers convenience and peace-of-mind. Operating as a locum IT director, a CCIT representative will be available to help you with the simplest printer issue to planning a complex overhaul of your infrastructure, website and telecoms.

your it strategy

Information flow is the bloodstream of any organisation, and today the pipework is all digital. You need to know that as your company grows larger and evolves in to new, possibly unforseen markets this infrastructure is keeping pace and maintaining the flow of your data. Everyone knows that revolution is disruptive, but fewer appreciate that a well-engineered solution at the start can reduce the need for overhauls later, saving you time, money and headaches in the long view.

CCIT can help you with this strategy. We can take a critical look at the systems you have in place, point out strengths and, possibly, weaknesses and work with you to devise a budgeted plan for taking your IT provision forward in line with the plans you have for growth. This gives you the freedom of an allocated budget of time and money for handling your IT requirements, and a benchmark to assess its performance in the future.

your day-to-day it requirements

Our day-to-day management ensures that you have a single point-of-contact for all of the IT within your organisation. Our engineer will get to know your systems thoroughly and will work to develop relationships with your staff, ensuring that problems are communicated quickly and effectively and resolved with an absolute minimum of fuss. This service provides peace of mind for you, knowing that your systems are in safe hands, and frees up your staff to concentrate on their core activities rather than debating the intricacies of modern computer management.

We can do a lot of work using a remote-access mechanism, and with our own hardware on site can do almost everything this way which saves time, money and reduces our carbon footprint. With this method it really isn't much different to having an IT department based on another site - except the overheads are so much lower: perfect for SMEs wishing to maximise their net bottom line.

In the few cases where remote access isn't appropriate, i.e. where physical intervention is required, you can rest assured that an engineer will be on site with the tools and hardware needed to get things working again with a minimum of fuss.

training your staff

Although we're not a specialised training provider, we have a great deal of experience helping non-technical users feel empowered to use and explore IT systems. We pride ourselves on a warm and patient approach where people may be on unfamiliar ground - whether it's a legacy system or simply getting the most from Microsoft Office. If you have somebody in-house who you'd like to be responsible for your computer systems then we can always help to bring them up to speed too.
