At CCIT we have a broad and deep knowledge of all areas of technology. A major part of our business is the successful execution of bespoke projects which, for whatever reason, our clients have found undesirable to tackle in-house. These can range from software specification and design through tricky system administration tasks (server migrations, etc.) to the design of network architectures, security evaluations and in-house documentation.
We will talk through your requirements extensively, if necessary we'll discuss with our partners and bring the right people together for the project and then give you comprehensive feedback as the project progresses.

We have a track record of developing robust and reliable applications for a wide variety of tasks, including:
- QA management software for a major FMCG manufacturer
- Credit control, invoicing and purchasing application for a company in the transport sector
- Miscellaneous client-side webapps using Java and ActionScript, and server-side webapps with PHP, Perl, Python and Java

short projects
We can offer short-term fulfilment of projects that occasionally crop up within an IT department or technical business. In the past these have been wide-ranging; they're often projects which would normally be completed in-house, but due to staffing or time constraints have been outsourced. We can look into and quote for most projects, some recent examples include:
- Migration of web servers from one hosting provider to another. (Approx. 80 live sites including databases and code checking)
- Email server migrations, minimising disruption to service
- Comprehensive security reviews and the production of ISO-grade process documents for maintaining information security.
- Specification of installation procedures for rapid BlackBerry™ Enterprise Server deployments
data recovery
As well as advising on and implementing a robust backup strategy, we can help you recover from any critical failure of your hardware or software which results in data loss. We'll carefully analyse what went wrong and give you a full report, including a quotation from our data recovery partners on the recovery costs as well as a plan to get you back up and running as soon as possible. Losing data is a bad experience, but it can be mitigated by swift action and avoided by a careful continuity strategy once your data is recovered.
